Samburu National Park is in the northern part of Kenya and is home to spectacular types of Animal and birds. This area is a very poor rainfall area and is very dry. We were not disappointed and saw Grevy's Zebra,Reticulated Giraffe, Bisa Oryx, Gerenuk and some very special bird sightings.
At the Nakuru National Park, we also enjoyed the company of both Black and White Rhino and the very rare Rothschild's Giraffe.
This was a very worthwhile 'add on' to our normal Tanzania Safari made even more special by one of our special guides from Tanzania requesting permission to join us on this leg of our Safari. He certainly added a very much more professional touch to the trip than we would have otherwise had.
