Tanzania - Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater.

22/5/2007 to 31/5/2007.

This year the migration herd was in the Western Corridor of the Serengeti. This area is covered by short Acacia trees which made viewing the Wildebeest difficult, but we did have a good idea of the numbers, especially when we realised they were dispersed over a good few kilometers of road.

Again we were spoiled with exceptional Cheetah sightings - some of the bestwe have had from a photographic viewpoint. We also saw an elusive Leopard which very obligingly stood up from the branch she was lying on, stretched, then climbed down the tree and walked through the vehicles on her way to an evening drink.

Each of these safaris have their own highlight, and on this one it was the number of sightings that we had of Serval cats, including one mother with 3 cubs.
