3/3/2009 to 13/3/2009.
February is when the Wildebeest usually calve and this happens in the eastern sector of the Serengeti, and to a smaller extent in the Ngorongoro Crater. With this in mind, the safari was planned accordingly and was therefore a little different, although as spectacular as usual.
The wildebeest calves at foot were a highlight of the trip. Along with this, several spectacular sighting of all the cats were amazing. Cheetah also seemedto have young ones and numerous families were seen. We also had incredible sightings of Leopard and Lion.
A good time to be there from a bird perspective as a number of the migratory birds were still there.
The Guide and all the efforts of our hosts were beyond expectation. Another truly memorable Safari.
